Adding a Couchbase SourceConfig

Central to the orchestration of data sources within an environment is the SourceConfig object, which outlines the blueprint for a dSource's configuration. Many SourceConfig objects can be created, each tethered to a repository and, by extension, to the known database instances it represents.

The CouchbaseDB SourceConfig must be created manually, to ensure precise alignment with the requirements of CouchbaseDB installations.

Procedure

Source Config is created on the Staging Environment

  1. Login to the Delphix Management application.

  2. Click Manage.

  3. Select Environments.

  4. Select the repository.

  5. Click on plus + icon.

  6. Add the required details in the Add database section.

  7. Enter the port number in the Source Couchbase port section.

  8. Enter the source host address in the Source Host (this will be used as the Source cluster for XDCR replication).

  9. Enter the unique name for the staging database in the Identify Field section.

  10. Enter the Couchbase data path of the staging host in Database Data Path section. The DB data path is the designated directory where Couchbase Server stores essential data files, encompassing data files, metadata, logs, and internal database files.

  11. Click the Add button to complete.
