Adding an installation to a Yugabyte environment

If a new Yugabyte installation is added to the environment, then to reflect it into the Delphix Continuous Data Engine UI, it is required to refresh the environment. For more information, refer to the "Environment Refresh" and “Prerequisites” sections on the Environment management page.

Add a source config

An environment contains repositories that are Yugabyte installations in the environment. Each environment may have any number of repositories associated with it.

A SourceConfig object defines the configuration of the dSource and is required to create a dSource. You can create any number of SourceConfig objects using a repository, that represents known database instances.

For the Yugabyte connector, the source config must be created manually.

Procedure

Perform the following steps to create a source config on the staging environment.

1. Login to the Delphix Management application.

2. Click Manage.

3. Select Environments.

4. Select the repository.

5. Click the plus icon.

   

6. Enter a unique name for the staging database in the identify field.

7. Enter a cluster name for the database in the Yugabyte Cluster Name field.

8. Click the Add button.
