The source sizing feature aligns the data source experience with Delphix database standards that will improve your ingestion reporting experience on the per Terabytes pricing model. This feature enables you to calculate the dataset size based on the total allocated space on the mount point provided by the Delphix Engine.
Procedure
The size of the dataset will be calculated using the data usage (du) command which provides the volume and apparent size of the datasets.
du -sb <mount_point>/data
The apparent size is presented in the Managed Source Data report and dSource configuration as shown below:
